Face Lift - Creating a Natural Appearance

At the Scottsdale Center for Plastic Surgery, when I evaluate a face for rejuvenation, I take all of its parts into consideration including the forehead, cheeks, eyes, chin and neck. I even look at such things as the nasal tip and the earlobes, which can, in some people, droop and add to an aged appearance. The various parts of a face maintain a natural balance during the aging process, and if the different components become too "out of sync," a person's face can take on an unnatural appearance. In more advanced cases of facial aging, re-contouring the deeper tissues of the face and neck, in addition to excess skin removal, may be needed to provide the best outcome. Regardless of which techniques my patients and I choose, I always strive for a natural result.
